The uniqueness of the Seychelles lies in their exceptional location: true tropics, just 4° south latitude, in the southern hemisphere, not far from the coast of East Africa.

The night sky here is completely different, free from light pollution, directly above the endless ocean. You can observe constellations not visible in Europe, including the legendary Southern Cross, which has guided sailors through the southern seas for centuries.

Giant turtles, rare coconuts, pristine coral beaches, an incredible underwater world, amazing fishing, cycling across the islands, and relaxing yachting — all of this awaits you in this true tropical paradise.

What’s interesting in the Seychelles?

Fishing
The tropical waters of the Seychelles offer a unique delight for anglers and divers alike: over 150 species of fish of all shapes and colors can be found here. In the deep waters between the islands, you can see schools of dolphins, and for enthusiastic anglers, there is a chance to catch a marlin or swordfish weighing over 100 kg. Even sharks and barracudas occasionally take the bait, though swimming in shallow areas remains completely safe. While no shark attacks have been recorded in the Seychelles, it is best to avoid dark waters far from shore.

Giant Turtles
The islands are home to giant turtles, Megalochelys gigantea, a rare species endemic to Aldabra. The population reaches around 150,000, and some turtles can live up to 150 years. Their massive carapace reaches one and a half meters, and they feed on the island’s dwarf vegetation while roaming open areas with grass, shrubs, and scattered trees. Observing them is an incredible experience that reconnects you with nature.

Coco de Mer Palm
The Coco de Mer, or “sea coconut,” is one of the rare natural wonders of the world. It takes about seven years for the nuts to mature, and fully grown they can weigh up to 40 kg! Walking through the reserve, you can’t help but look up — could such a natural “bomb” fall? Night guards wear metal helmets, while during the day it’s safe to enjoy the walk, as the nuts only fall at night.

The Seychelles are more than just islands. They are a true adventure, combining nature, exotic beauty, and unforgettable experiences.

Yachting in the Seychelles

Victoria, the capital on Mahe Island

La Digue - the most beautiful beach in the world

You can rent a bike in La Digue and visit this quiet and beautiful island. Seeing the incredible beauty of houses with palm leaf roofs, fine sandy white beaches and large polished rocks, La Digue is the best island in the Seychelles. No cars, only bicycles or carts. Anchor in the harbor of La Digue.

St. Anne Marine Park

Great place for snorkeling. Journey to Cocos Island, which is made of large rocks with strange regular stripes minted from the sea. Coconut Island forms a splendid spectacle with great harmony of shapes and colors. Optional, unforgettable diving.

Valle de Mai - a park under the protection of UNESCO

Praslin is perhaps the most beautiful island in the Seychelles. It is called the "Garden of Eden". Surrounded by a coral reef, Praslin Island is the only place on earth where a grove of "sea coconut" has survived. This is a place where the word "beauty" is inseparable from the word "carefree". The first settlers did not fail, settling here and first calling the island the Isle of Palms and the "Garden of Eden". Therefore, the earth generously gives its fruits to its offspring: the fabulous mango fruit, the unusual banana and the legendary Coco de Mer (sea coconut).

Curieuse

This island is part of the Marine National Park. Small homeland of giant tortoises and crabs. You can enjoy great views and barbecue on the beach. This is a good opportunity to take unforgettable captivating photos.

Diving

The large islands of the archipelago and the seabed around them consist mainly of granitic rocks, the small ones are usually coral. From here - the unique underwater landscapes of the Seychelles archipelago. Visibility under water usually exceeds 30 meters, and the water temperature is kept at +26...+38 °C. There are more than 900 species of fish, 100 types of shells and 50 varieties of corals. Not surprisingly, the Seychelles hosts SUBIOS, the annual festival of films shot underwater in the Indian Ocean.
